Hi All!
So this week has mainly consisted of vet trips, vet bills, angry kitty, annoying kitty, sad kitty, keeps me up at night kitty and so on with a not so small side of assignments. You get the picture. The bad news was that Monday night Callie had to go to the vets and she had her tail amputated Tuesday. The good news is that she can start healing (with one of those ridiculously annoying collars around her neck) and getting back to normal. Not my most favorite week. Here are the highlights 
Dear Scholarship: I didn’t get you and that devastated me and made this week that much worse, Dear Exams: I know you can’t wait to be here but please relax and stop rushing me! Dear Nose Specialist: Please don’t ever stick a microscope that far up my nose again, Dear Sister: Huge congratulations on your restricted! I knew you would rock it 😀 Dear Wedding Invites: Thank you for making my day a wee bit better, you are gorgeous! Dear Tea: I don’t think you realize how much I love you right now. My afternoon pots of tea are all that get me through a rough week at Uni, Dear Callie: You survived having your tail amputated and I’m sure you can survive two weeks of an incredibly annoying Elizabethan collar. And as much as I love you, sleeping right on my chest with your collar in my face isn’t hugely comfortable …

So this week is proving to provide little time or inspiration for blogging. I would love to do some more wedding posts but don’t have the time or energy to plan and write them out. Small update! Invites have been sent off from the designer today so hopefully I get them soon to send off to the invitees! Can’t wait to show you all what they look like! I was so pleased with what the results were (although I haven’t seen their completed state just yet). Anyway, as I have had this recipe waiting to be blogged for ages I thought I would throw it up in my spare ten minutes Oh and nothing makes these brownies particularly foxy… I just couldn’t think of a name other than “Brownies” 😛

So Friday night, amidst a hell of essays and assignments, Edd and I went to our favorite place to eat in Auckland, a Japanese Yakitori Bar called Ken Yakitori. This was kind of a belated dinner to celebrate Edd’s graduation on Tuesday due to me being a terrible girlfriend and being so stressed out by Uni work that a night off after a day missing lectures for the graduation was a no-go.
Another Friday, another bunch of letters, boy these weeks are going past so fast!
Dear Neighbours: Please stop blocking our shared driveway with 4 of your cars. Makes it very hard and stressful in the early mornings to get my 1 little mazda out without scratching anything and I know for a fact my car is worth a lot less than yours. Dear Cupcakes: Can’t wait to start baking you again! Dear Callie: Please hurry up and get better. I can’t stand seeing you in pain and not being your normal playful self. Dear Wedding Invitations: You look beautiful and I can’t wait to have you printed off and sent out! Dear Edd: Congratulations on your Graduation with a BSc, I know it wasn’t all perfect but it’s been a pleasure experiencing the whole process alongside you over the past 3 years and you deserved it! Dear Art History: I love you as a subject but with 3 separate assignments on at the moment you are making life a bit challenging (okay, a lot challenging) . Dear Sister: Loved our talk on Tuesday night, I am truly blessed to have such a beautiful sister, inside and out. Please don’t ever change. P.s. I can’t wait to go bridesmaid dress shopping with you next weekend! P.p.s good luck with your driving test today! Dear Blog: I know I’m neglecting you a bit but I’m doing my best Dear God: Thankyou for giving me the strength to get through what as felt like one of the hardest weeks of my entire degree and for providing me with a family that has shown so much support for me that it would take forever to thank them all!

So September has come around way way too quick for my liking and the fact that I now need to do my favorites has made me realize the impossible amount of work and planning I have to do. Someone pause the clock for me so I can actually catch up with life!
